Application for a Visa for Temporary Workers and Technicians

To apply for this visa, the company must demonstrate that the foreign national will be performing skilled labor or temporary work in Panama.

The necessary documents include: 

  • Three passport-sized photographs  
  • Identification document from home country of applicant
  • Good health certificate 
  • Certified check for a deposit of B/.100.00 to the National Migration Service and certified check for B/.100.00 to the National Treasury 
  • A certification of work permit 
  • Paid flight ticket
  • Proof of hotel or accommodation reservation
  • Tax good standing for national income tax from the company hiring
  • Social security good standing for the company
  • Letter of responsibility from the company 
  • A receipt for the payment of income tax corresponding to the value of the work contract
  • Notarized copy of the passport with entry stamps 
  • Police record
  • Visa application form and Personal background information form.

If an extension is needed, a request for extension, B/.100.00 certified check to the National Treasury and work permit must be submitted.
